"When I first saw Deborah I felt as though my thoughts and feelings were a complete ravel of knotted string. I often questioned myself and wondered how I had arrived at certain situations in life. Little by little Deborah helped me to understand my issues and unravel the messy emotions and logic. I am so glad I made the decision to see Deborah, it was invaluable to me and I would highly recommend counselling and Deborah."
"Dear Deborah, I want to thank you for helping me get through a difficult time with my anxiety. I don't think I could have got through it without you, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to other people. Once again thank you."
"Deborah was very compassionate and wasn't judgemental of me, she helped me develop so much confidence in myself to de-mistify the mess I felt in my heart and head, she has helped me overcome a trauma in my life that I thought would always hold me back. If you're ready to look within yourself and face the problems you're dealing with in your own way and at your own pace, Deborah will be there to support you and guide you through your healing. I will always appreciate her help and I am glad that I feel like I have someone to turn to who can help me professionally. Thank you Deborah!"
"I required help to overcome a fear of going into surgery. Whilst I knew that the barriers holding me back were based on past experiences, traumas and family circumstances, I had no idea how to work past these issues and get myself into the operating theatre. Deborah provided me with a safe space to explore these issues and taught me a variety of techniques that helped me take myself away from the most stressful moments and feel more comfortable with the scenario I faced. Her mix of CBT therapy and counselling proved invaluable as I soon faced the surgery with successful outcomes."
"Deborah really helped me to get through a very difficult time. I was trying to cope with problems that, although caused by an external source, caused me so much stress and worry, I became unable to "see the wood for the trees" - everything was going round and round in my head. I was able to tell her all that had happened, and she was very quick to understand why I had become so distressed. Although my distress was justified, it certainly was not doing me any good, and Deborah's calm and clear approach meant I could see a way forward, and set in motion alternative arrangements. After that, things began to improve quite swiftly! and in the end, I felt I had shed a ton weight of worry off my shoulders, and had got things in a proper perspective.
I also found the mindful breathing very helpful. I could visualise a beautiful, serene place, which gave me a space where I could put everything that had been upsetting me, to one side.
Deborah is a delightful lady, and I would not hesitate to return for more counselling, should the need arise. "
"I came to see Deborah when things in my life were not good. I was experiencing problems at work as well as problems with my personal life, and I felt anxious and low and didn't feel I was coping with life.
From the very first session I found Deborah a warm person and very easy to talk to. She allowed me to open up as and when I felt ready and talk about things that were clearly having an impact on my day to day life.
Deborah has never judged me or made me feel uncomfortable. Instead she has supported me and facilitated my journey.
Regular sessions, have helped me put positive thoughts in place of negative thoughts, and I firmly believe Deborah was instrumental in providing the tools that helped me to identify and adjust my behaviour patterns.
My recovery has been due to a number of factors, but I have no doubt that seeking help from Deborah was, and still is a major contributing factor.
I cannot thank Deborah enough, and would recommend her without hesitation. "
