My Background

My past experience includes 4 years working as a High Intensity Counsellor within Step 3 of the Step Care Model within the NHS Psychological Therapy Service and 5 years as a mentor, facilitating clients to overcome anxiety and build confidence to achieve their goals. In addition, I have worked as a counsellor in CAMHS with children, adolescents and their families and have also worked as a school Counsellor.

I also have experience in the area of personal injury and offer a sensitive, safe and effective psychological rehabilitation service for individuals and families. This involves assessment, treatment and legal reports for adults who have suffered as a result of trauma including industrial accidents.

I welcome and respect people's uniqueness and diversity, and respond respectively to each person's circumstances. My ethical approach places my clients' best interests at the forefront of my decision-making which includes continuing my professional development to advance my learning in support of clients.
